Website expects improvement at ACU

Sports

The start of the 2018 college football season is right around the corner.

herosports.com released their look at the ACU Wildcats, and they see good things in the future for head coach Adam Dorrel’s team.

Even though the program is struggling, herosports.com says they have a couple of things going for them.

Number one on is coach Dorrel, himself.

They credit the recent recruiting class, and the play of red-shirt sophomore Luke Anthony as reasons for ACU and the fans to get excited about the upcoming season.

Coach Dorrel told the website the team just looks better. “We are taller, rangier, and more athletic. We look more like an NCAA Division I FCS program.”

The website says the Wildcats will five or six games in 2018 with even more success coming in the future.

ACU opens the 2018 seaosn in Waco against Baylor on September 1st.
