This is head coach Adam Dorrel’s second season leading the Wildcats.
Year one was one to forget with just a pair of victories, but Dorrel was just beginning to make the program his.
Since then, a lot of players are gone, and a lot of Dorrel guys are in place.
The Wildcats say they are way ahead from this time last year.
Dorrel said, “You are seeing growth. How fast? I don’t know. Obviously we’ve got to go out and compete on Saturday. We’ve got this year to kind of measure that. There is no doubt in my mind that we are moving the needle forward in our footbal program.”
Luke Anthony said, “I think it’s a night and day difference. I think last year they were trying to instill their culture on all of us. For the guys that didn’t buy in, they’re not here anymore. I think now it’s pretty clear expectation on how we are supposed to carry ourselves on and off the field. The standards been set. It’s up to us to go out and execute and play hard.”
The Wildcats get an idea of how far they’ve come on Saturday in Waco.
