Monday Afternoon: Scattered showers and thunderstorms will continue across the Big Country and the Heartland. Localized flooding will be the main concern once again with some spots getting multiple rounds of rain. Afternoon highs will only manage to get to 77-79 degrees. Winds will be out of the South at 10-15 mph, with wind gusts up to 20 mph.
Monday Evening: Showers and thunderstorms will taper off from South to North becoming more isolated. Skies will become mostly cloudy and it will become muggy. Winds will be out of the South at 10-15 mph. Overnight lows will be at 70-72 degrees.
Tuesday Morning: There will be a mix of sun and clouds along with a chance for a lingering shower for the first half of the day. An upper level high pressure will begin to build into the area, allowing rain chances to decrease significantly across the region. Winds will pick up a bit out of the South at 10-15 mph, with occasional wind gusts up to 25 mph.
