Thursday Evening: Skies will be mostly cloudy and it’ll be a mild evening with temperatures at 59-61 degrees at 9pm. Winds will be relatively light and stay out of the South at 5-10 mph and clouds will continue to increase throughout the evening. The cold front is expected to reach the Big Country around midnight and into the Heartland after midnight.

Friday Morning: It’ll be a cold start with low temperatures closer to normal at 36-38 degrees. Winds will start to pick up out of the North at 10-20 mph with wind gusts up to 25 mph. Wind chills will be 28-32 degrees. A heavy coat will be needed when headed off to work. There will also be a 30% chance for developing showers in the early morning hours and a 50% chance in the Heartland.

Friday Afternoon: Winds will continue to stay brisk and skies will be mostly cloudy. It won’t warm up much with afternoon high’s only getting to 44-46 degrees. Wind chills will stay in the mid 30’s throughout the afternoon. Make sure to keep a heavy coat and bundle up.
