KTAB PM Forecast: Saturday, August 11, 2018


Saturday Evening: Hit and miss showers and thunderstorms will continue into the overnight hours as we are crunched in between two stationary fronts. Otherwise, skies will be mostly cloudy and winds will be out of the East Northeast at 5-10 mph.  

Sunday Morning: A cloudy and muggy start to the day with temperatures at 68-70 degrees. Winds will be out of the North at 5-10 mph. Grab the umbrella before heading out for your Sunday activities. A few showers are possible throughout the Heartland and South of I-20. 

Sunday Afternoon: Showers and thunderstorms will become more widespread. Heavy downpours and dangerous lightning will be the main threats. Localized flooding will be possible in low lying areas and areas that have already seen several rounds of storms. Heavy downpours and dangerous lightning will be the main threats. Highs will be below average and at 86-88 degrees, and will vary area wide depending on the amount of rain received.
