Weather

Saturday Evening: A chance for isolated showers and thunderstorms from convection that has developed off of old outflow boundaries throughout the Big Country. Otherwise, skies will be mostly cloudy to partly cloudy in the Heartland and winds will be light out of the South at 5-10 mph.

Sunday Morning: It will be a mild and muggy start with temperatures starting out at 75-77 degrees. There will be a mix of sun and clouds although an isolated shower or storm can’t be ruled out. Winds will be out of the South Southwest at 10-15 mph.

Sunday Afternoon: Skies will be partly sunny throughout the afternoon with a few showers and thunderstorms likely to develop ahead of the front. Regardless of the increased cloud cover it will still be a hot afternoon with highs topping out at 96-98 degrees.
