KTAB PM Forecast: Saturday, August 4, 2018

Saturday Evening: Skies will be mostly clear and temperatures will gradually cool off. Winds will be out of the Southeast at 5-15 mph. Overnight lows will be pleasant and will get to 71-73 degrees.

Sunday Morning: It’ll be a bright and sunny start, however it’ll be the best time to enjoy the outdoors before temperatures become too hot. Winds will be out of the South at 10-15 mph.

Sunday Afternoon: Winds will be breezy out of the South at 10-15 mph, with wind gusts up to 20 mph. Dormant vegetation along with low relative humidity will create a high fire risk across the Big Country. Temperatures will climb to 97-99 degrees. The UV Index will be 10 (High) meaning if you’re headed outdoors you need to apply lots of sunscreen and avoid sun exposure during the midday hours between 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM.
