KTAB PM Forecast: Thursday, August 9, 2018

Thursday Evening: Rain chances will be higher for areas along and south of I-20 tonight. A pop up shower and storm could be possible for areas north of I-20. Otherwise, skies will be mostly cloudy and winds will be out of the East at 5-10 mph. Overnight lows will be 71-73 degrees.

Friday Morning: It will be muggy for areas that are missing out on scattered showers and thunderstorms. Grab an umbrella before leaving on your morning commute. Winds will be light out South at 5-10 mph.

Friday Afternoon: Scattered showers and thunderstorms will continue throughout the Big Country and the Heartland. Therefore, temperatures will only get to 86-88 degrees. The main threats with any storms will be dangerous lightning, gusty winds and heavy downpours. This will mark the beginning of the flooding potential in low lying areas as rain chances continue throughout the weekend.
