KTAB PM Forecast: Tuesday, August 7, 2018

Tuesday Evening: A stray shower or thunderstorm could clip our northern counties this evening as they move southeastward tonight. Otherwise, skies will be partly cloudy and along with rising humidity levels. Winds will be out of the South Southeast at 5-15 mph, with occasional wind gusts up to 20 mph.

Wednesday Morning: It will be mild and muggy with temperatures starting out at 74-76 degrees. Skies will be mostly sunny and it will be the best chance to mow the lawn before rain chances are introduced.

Wednesday Afternoon: Afternoon highs will top out at 96-98 degrees and clouds will increase in the late afternoon hours. There’s a chance for pop up showers and thunderstorms after 3:00 PM and becoming more widespread in the evening. A few storms could become strong to severe with the main threats being damaging winds and heavy downpours that could produce localized flooding.
