KRBC AM Forecast: Cool end to the week as quiet weather continues

Cool day in store... quiet weather continues... 

Grab the jacket this morning! Temperatures are in the 30s and 40s across the Big Country under clear skies. Winds are northerly around 5 to 15 mph, and that make it feel like the low 30s and upper 20s for some. Skies will be sunny to mostly sunny today as temperatures only warm into the mid 50s thanks to yesterday's cold front. 

A very quiet weather pattern is now shaping up for the next week. Our weather stays cool through Saturday with a very small chance for an isolated shower in the northern Big Country Saturday night. High pressure will settle in starting a warming trend St. Patrick's Day that will gradually warm temperatures to near 70° by the end of next week with mostly sunny skies. 

Today: Mostly sunny. Northeasterly winds around 5 to 15 mph. Wind gusts up to 20 mph possible. Highs in the mid 50s.

Tonight: Light freeze for some. Mostly clear. Easterly winds around 5 mph. Lows in the mid and low 30s. 

Saturday: Mostly sunny. Easterly winds around 5 to 15 mph. Highs in the mid 50s. 

St. Patrick's Day: Mostly sunny. Easterly winds around 5 to 10 mph. Lows in the mid 30s. Highs in the low 60s.

Monday: Mostly sunny. Lows in the upper 30s. Highs in the mid 60s.

Tuesday: Mostly sunny. Lows in the low 40s. Highs in the mid 60s.

Wednesday: Mostly sunny. Lows in the mid 40s. Highs in the mid 60s.

Thursday: Mostly sunny. Lows in the mid 40s. Highs in the upper 60s.
