Spring-like weather returns, but the first week of March will feel more like the first week of January… 

Grab the jacket heading out the door this morning, temperatures are in the 30s and 40s across the Big Country under mostly clear skies. Winds are out of the southeast around 5 to 15 mph, but that is bringing wind chills around freezing.

Winds pick up this afternoon under sunny skies and warm air sticks around this week. Highs warm into the 70s ahead of a very weak cold front Wednesday evening. A strong front Friday night will bring much colder weather this weekend and for the start to next week. 

Today: Sunny and breezy. Southerly winds around 15 to 25 this afternoon with gusts up to 30 mph. Highs in the mid 60s.

Tonight: Moslty clear, increasing clouds into the morning. Breezy at times with southerly winds around 10 to 20 mph. Lows around 50°. 

Tuesday: Mostly sunny. Southerly winds around 5 to 15 mph. Gusts up to 20 mph. Highs in the low 70s.

Wednesday: Partly sunny. Souhtwesterly winds around 5 to 15 mph. Gusts up to 20 mph. Lows around 50°. Highs in the mid 70s. Weak evening cold front.

Thursday: Mostly sunny. Lows in the low 40s. High sin the mid 60s.

Friday: Mostly sunny. Lows in the upper 40s. Highs in the mid 70s. Strong overnight cold front.

Saturday: Mostly sunny. Lows around freezing. Highs around 50°.

Sunday: Partly sunny. Lows around 30°. Highs in the upper 40s.
