This Morning: Warm again across the Big Country to get you out the door. Temperatures are in the 70s across most of the region with a few 80s north of I-20. There is some cloud cover in the western Big Country, but expect skies to remain sunny this morning with a breezy southerly wind still around 15 to 25 mph. 

This Afternoon: Temperatures and winds will once again be the story today. Highs will climb to around 100° across the Big Country. 99° for a high in Abilene with sunny skies. Winds will stay out of the south around 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 30 mph again at times. There will also be another chance for an isolated shower or thunderstorm in the far western Big Country this evening into the overnight. 

Tonight: Rain chances will taper off after sunset for the far western Big Country as winds lighten up slightly to around 10 to 20 mph. Skies will remain clear to mostly clear as temperatures fall back into the mid and upper 70s.

Looking Ahead: Temperatures will continue to feel like summer through the rest of the week and into Labor Day weekend as highs stay in the mid and upper 90s. Winds will die down by midweek before becoming breezy again by this weekend.
