This Morning: Humid again this morning with mostly sunny skies. Temperatures are in the 70s across the Big Country with a light, southeasterly wind around 5 to 15 mph. Expect an increase in cloud cover again this morning, especially to the southeast. Skies will become partly sunny.
This Afternoon: Isolated showers and possibly a thunderstorm possible across the Big Country with a better chance to the southeast. Skies will be partly sunny and will keep temperatures in the mid and upper 80s across most of the Big Country. Lower 90s possible off to the northwest where less cloud cover will be. Winds will remain light and out of the southeast. Heavy rainfall is likely with any shower or thunderstorm.
Tonight: Rain chances will diminish tonight as skies remain partly cloudy with humid conditions. Temperatures will cool down to around 70°.
Looking Ahead: A slight chance for isolated showers and thunderstorms continue through Thursday, however, chances for rain may be increase Wednesday night into Thursday as a very, very weak cold front pushes across the Big Country by Thursday afternoon for the first day of Summer. Don’t expect cooler temperatures with this front, other than a change of northerly winds for Thursday. By Friday though, Summer heat returns as highs approach triple-digits by the weekend with very windy conditions through the start of next week.
