KRBC AM Forecast: Warmer weather returns ahead of a strong cold front this weekend

Warming the rest of this week before a strong cold front Friday night…

It’s a little cool walking out the door this morning with temperatures in the 40s for many under clear skies. Winds are out of the east around 5 to 10 mph. Be sure to get outside today with highs in the mid 70s and sunny skies!

Temperatures will continue to warm the rest of the week, eventually making it into the mid and upper 80s by Friday. A few will make it close to 90°! Strong winds will also come with the warmer weather. Wind gusts will be as high as 35 mph Friday. A strong cold front moves in by early Saturday morning. That will bring strong winds too Saturday morning with wind gusts up to 40 mph and much colder weather for the weekend. 

Today: Sunny. Southeast winds around 5 to 15 mph. Highs in the mid 70s.

Tonight: Partly cloudy. Increasing winds. Southeast winds around 10 to 20 mph. Lows in the low 50s.

Wednesday: Partly sunny. Breezy. South winds around 10 to 20 mph. Wind gusts up to 25 mph. Highs in the mid 70s.

Thursday: Partly sunny. Windy. Lows in the upper 50s. Highs in the upper 70s.

Friday: Mostly sunny. Windy. South winds around 15 to 25 mph. Wind gusts up to 35 mph. Lows around 60°. Highs in the upper 80s.

Saturday: Strong early morning cold front. Mostly sunny. Windy. Wind gusts up to 40 mph possible in the morning. Lows in the upper 40s. Highs in the low 60s.

Sunday: Mostly sunny. Windy. Lows in the upper 30s. Highs in the upper 50s.

Monday: Mostly sunny. Lows in the upper 30s. Highs in the mid 60s.
