Here’s the Deal: A chilly beginning to the month of April with most of us bottoming out in the 30s. A 20% chance for light showers as well Monday morning. The front has stalled out and will advance back to the north as a warm front. Overcast to mostly cloudy conditions in the AM will transition to mostly sunny from west to east across the region in the afternoon. Temperatures will reflect this transition with a number of sunny sky customers receiving warmer weather near 70°, and those locations hanging onto the clouds with cooler weather near 60°.
Into the Future: We will continue to warm up Tuesday. Winds will increase as well and change from south to northeast as another gut-punching cold front pulls the mercury in the thermometer down into the 30s for Wednesday morning. There’s a small chance for rain on Tuesday as well, but the higher likelihood of shower activity lies towards the east and southeast. We will warm up again during the back half of the week, but another cold front lies in the forecast for at least one predictable result, cooler temperatures. There is a chance for showers and storms with this front but considering we are still 5 days out, my confidence is not very high. Please keep up with the forecast because the timing and impact can certainly change.
