Weather Forecasts

Here’s the Deal: Tuesday will essentially be a carbon copy of Monday. Afternoon highs are forecast in the mid-to-upper-90s. Southerly winds blowing around 10 mph and dry conditions will continue across the region. Today is going to be the only somewhat normal August day. Wednesday looks to be just as hot but the rain starts to develop in the afternoon and evening.

Into the Future: Superb rain chances over the next 6 days. The jet stream will take a dip into the Lone Star State and with enough moisture in place, a cold front moving south, and a few upper-level disturbances, the Big Country and Heartland could see a few rounds of some heavy downpours over the next several days. Will most locations see rain? Most likely. Will most locations see beneficial rain? Most likely. Will most locations see rain every single day? Probably not, unfortunately. Prepare for wetter than normal weather heading into the weekend. Have a great day!
