Monday's Wake-Up Weather: Cloudy and mild

Temperatures this morning are in the 30s and 40s this morning across the Big Country, kept above average thanks to clouds still linger across most of the state. You'll still want a jacket though as you head back to work and school. Winds are light to calm across the region as well.

Mild weather settles in...

After a weak cold front Sunday night, temperatures will make it to around 60° this afternoon with mostly cloudy skies and light northwesterly winds only around 5 mph. Clouds will continue to linger into the overnight as temperatures fall into the lower 40s and upper 30s once again.

Above average December weather continues into the middle of this week. There is a 20% chance for rain on Tuesday. More sunshine breaks through by Wednesday as temperatures warm into the mid 60s.

Midweek cold front...

Another cold front will move into the Big Country late Wednesday night into early Thursday morning. No rain is expected with this front as it will leave sunny skies behind it and temperatures in the upper 50s. We will see the return of strong winds though for Thursday afternoon with gusts up to 40 mph.

By Friday though, temperatures return to the mid 60s, staying into the 60s Saturday as another cold front moves in Saturday afternoon. Once again this front wil remain dry, but drop us into the mid 50s with mostly sunny skies for Sunday.
