Today looks to be another great day for the Big Country. High temperatures will be around 80 under partly sunny skies. Wind will come from the south at 5-10 MPH. There is a 20% chance for showers and thunderstorms in our southeastern counties this afternoon continuing into the evening. Severe weather is not expected, and most of us will stay dry. Overnight, it will be mostly clear as temperatures fall down to around 60. The wind will come from the south at 5-10 MPH.
Quiet weather will domintate our area Wednesday and Thursday as a more stable air mass settles into the region. It will be mostly sunny with temperatures in the upper 80’s.
Things will turn a bit unsettled by Friday as we get into a breezy southwesterly flow. There are severe thunderstorm chances Friday and Saturday. We look to get a break for Sunday, and then the chance for showers and storms will return on Monday of next week.
