Today/Tonight: We are looking at a RED FLAG WARNING, a HIGH WIND WARNING, and a WIND ADVISORY for areas across the Big Country today. It will be hot, windy, and dry. As a result most of the Big Country will see CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER today as well. Outdoor burning is strongly discouraged. Winds will come from the southwest at 25-35 MPH with wind gusts 40 MPH+. It will be extremely dry with relative humidity values in the teens and maybe even single digits for some of our northwestern counties. It will be hot with high temperatures reaching the middle 90’s for most locations under mostly sunny skies. Overnight temperatures will fall to the upper 50’s to low 60’s under mostly clear skies. It will be windy with winds coming from the west at 15-25 MPH and wind gusts up to 35 MPH.
