Warmer and windy weather returns, bringing in very warm air into the end of this week... temperatures take a nose-dive starting Sunday...
You'll want to bundle up again before heading out the door this morning! Temperatures have fallen below freezing and even into the 20s in some low-lying areas this morning. The rest of the Big Country is in the lower 40s and 30s under clear skies.
Windy conditions return this afternoon with gusts as high as 35 mph and a few more clouds, bringing in temperatures into the mid 60s. We continue the warming trend through Valentine's Day and into Friday. A weak front Saturday morning will only cool us off a few degrees, but a strong cold front Sunday morning will send temperatures falling to start next week, possibly even bringing back a taste of winter.
