Much colder today…
Bundle up before heading out the door! Thanks to yesterdays cold front, temperatures this morning are 20° to 30° colder compared to yesterday morning. We are below freezing, in the 20s and lower 30s across the Big Country under clear skies. However, winds are out of the northwest around 5 to 15 mph and that is making it feel more like teens for many of us!
This afternoon, temperatures will only warm to around 50° across the Big Country with sunny skies. Winds will continue to die down through the day, eventually becoming more southerly by this evening, around 5 to 10 mph.
Overnight, lows will once again fall to near or below freezing under clear skies and light, southerly winds around 5 to 15 mph.
Another front Thursday…
Temperatures will warm into the mid 50s by Thursday afternoon before yet another cold front moves in. This will bring breezy, northerly winds around 10 to 20 mph with gusts as high as 30 mph. Skies will remain sunny though before temperatures fall into the 20s overnight.
Thursday’s cold front will once again keep temperatures in the low 50s for Friday under mostly sunny skies and lighter, southerly winds.
Partly sunny skies move in on Saturday, along with a small 20% chance for rain mainly in the southern and southeastern parts of the Big Country, south of I-20. Highs will stay in the low to mid 50s.
Sunday will see afternoon highs climb back into the low ot mid 60s under sunny skies again. A beautiful end to the weekend.
Monday cold front…
Yet another cold front moves in by Monday afternoon, bringing breezy conditions once again and much colder weather by Tuesday. Lows Tuesdy morning will be in the 20s, as afternoon highs only make it into the mid 40s.
